Paolo Malabuyo is the instructor of the seventh and final course in the Google UX Design Certificate, Design a User Experience for Social Good & Prepare for Jobs. During the course’s recording, he held the position of UX Manager at Google, a role he continues to fulfill. Prior to his time at Google, Paolo worked at Microsoft and Netflix.
Paolo studied at California College of Art and Carnegie Mellon University. He enjoys educating others and sharing his knowledge. He said about his passion for teaching:
“Education plays a big part in my life, and I credit the opportunities I’ve gotten through education with opening up all these opportunities that I’ve had and that I’ve been lucky enough to take advantage of.”
Before transitioning into the field of UX design, Paolo was a graphic designer and illustrator. Additionally, Paolo is a first-generation immigrant from the Philippines, having relocated to the US at the age of twelve.
